Alex Prezzano is a New York–based alternative folk/rock artist, guitarist, and songwriter whose music blends intricate fingerstyle guitar, atmospheric textures, and emotionally driven songwriting. His work leans into quiet detail and gradual build, balancing intimacy with a broader, more expansive sound.

He is currently preparing the release of his debut full-length album, Awake From The Dream (Fall 2026), produced and recorded by Malcolm Burn (Emmylou Harris, Bob Dylan). The project marks a defining step into a more cohesive and immersive artistic voice.

His sound centers on fingerstyle guitar, intimate vocals, and dynamic, slow-building arrangements.

Originally from Methuen, Massachusetts, Prezzano began playing guitar at age 12 and later studied at the University of Southern Maine with the late Keith Crooke, whose influence helped shape his approach to the instrument and to songwriting.

In addition to his solo work, Prezzano has built an extensive career as a guitarist and music director, including national tours of A Night with Janis Joplin alongside Tony-nominated performer Mary Bridget Davies. His work has also included performances at venues such as Joe’s Pub, 54 Below, Mercury Lounge, and The Bitter End, as well as collaborations across theater, recording, and commercial projects.

His live performances move between intimacy and dynamic release, inviting listeners into a reflective, immersive musical experience.
